How it happened

Neil Glossoa, a defender, was the standout performer as SK Artis Brno won 4-2 at FC Hradec Králové. He scored once, supplied two assists and finished with a match rating of 9.8, the highest of any player.

Vladimír Darida put the hosts ahead with a 12th-minute penalty. Alégué levelled in the 33rd minute, and the sides went in at 1-1.

Ndiaye gave Brno the lead in the 56th minute. Four minutes later Kucera was sent off for Hradec Králové. Glossoa made it 3-1 in the 75th minute, and Filip Čihák pulled one back a minute later. Harazim settled it in the 88th minute.

The numbers

Brno had 19 shots to the hosts' 11, and nine of them were on target against four. Possession was split 50-50, and corners were close at five to four.

The expected-goals count was tighter than the scoreline: 1.76 for Hradec Králové and 1.33 for Brno. The hosts created slightly better chances overall but ended with two goals fewer.

Glossoa had seven key passes and 75 touches, with an expected-goals figure of just 0.03 from his own goal. Goalkeeper Adam Zadražil made five saves for the hosts but conceded four times and took a match rating of 5.7. Čihák was the best-rated home player on 7.7, and Darida followed on 7.6 with an assist and four key passes.

What it means

The table lists Hradec Králové ninth with 14 points from ten matches and Brno 14th with 8. Over their last ten matches, however, the two sides have identical records: three wins, two draws and five defeats each, worth 1.1 points per match.

Brno's four goals take their recent tally to 12 scored and 16 conceded. Hradec Králové have now conceded 15 in that same stretch, and the sending-off left them to play the final half hour a player short.
