How we write
GiovePicks publishes football previews and match reports built from verified data. This page explains how, so you can judge the work for yourself.
Written with AI, from data
Our stories are drafted by an AI writing system working from a fixed set of facts: league tables, recent results, head-to-head records, match statistics, player ratings and bookmaker prices. The writer is told to use only those facts. It cannot add injuries, quotes, line-ups or anything else it was not given.
Checked before publication
Every article is checked by software before it goes online. The check rejects numbers that do not appear in the data or follow from it, banned phrases such as betting calls to action and guarantees, drafts that skip one of the clubs, and pieces outside our length limits. A draft that fails is rewritten once. If it still fails, it is not published.
What “Our view” means
Where enough bookmakers price a match, we show what their prices imply next to our own statistical model, and the fair odds those prices work out to. These are estimates built from public data, not predictions and not advice. We do not take bets, we do not recommend any bookmaker, and we do not link to one.
Where the data comes from
Match data, statistics and prices come from a licensed sports-data provider. We publish analysis built from it, never the raw data.
