How it happened

Michael Lansing was the busiest man on the pitch. Kristiansund's goalkeeper made six saves and earned a match rating of 8.5, yet Bodø/Glimt still won 3-1 at Aspmyra.

The home side led through O. Brynhildsen in the 44th minute, the only goal of a first half in which they were already well on top. Kristiansund levelled in the 66th minute through L. Alvheim, a goal that came from a side that had managed very little before it.

The lead did not last long. In the 72nd minute F. Flex put the ball into his own net to make it 2-1, and A. Helmersen added the third in the 79th. There were no red cards.

The numbers

Bodø/Glimt had 22 shots to Kristiansund's four, seven of them on target against three, and won the corners four to nil. They held 78% of possession. Estimated expected goals were 3.88 to 0.20, so the scoreline, if anything, flattered the visitors.

Jens Petter Hauge had the highest match rating on the pitch, 9.6, without a goal or an assist. He played all 90 minutes, had 143 touches and created two chances through key passes. Odin Luras Bjørtuft followed with 8.2 and 126 touches from defence.

Lansing's 8.5 was the second-highest rating of the match, and he made 48 touches.

What it means

Bodø/Glimt stay first on 53 points from 22 matches before this round, with 17 wins and a goal difference of +36. They came into the game having won four of their last five, with a defeat the match before that run.

Kristiansund started the day 15th on 19 points, having lost seven of their last 10 in all competitions listed and conceded 25 goals in that time. The 34-point gap between the sides was the story of the afternoon, even with Lansing's efforts.

The history is lopsided too. Bodø/Glimt have won 13 of the 15 meetings, with two draws and no Kristiansund wins, and the last two league games between them ended 3-0 and 7-1 in Bodø/Glimt's favour.
